The Separation of Church and State

RE: The Separation of Church and State
I'm not ageist. I love kids Big Grin

My intention isn't snobbish, although I can see how it could be interpreted like that. I just don't like talk that's overly schoolyard. No insult intended, it's just the last thing I wanna read.

I'm not ashamed at all that I discriminate based on age. It would be ridiculous not to.

Age, unlike race or gender, is completely acceptable to discriminate against, as there are well-documented differences between age groups.

Of the following, who would you be most likely to hire for a warehouse job moving heavy boxes off trucks?
-A 4 y/o child?
-An 18 y/o boy?
-A 65 y/o man?

Replace those options with:
-An african
-A caucasian
-An asian

Not the same at all.

That said, I almost universally despise the elderly. What a waste of humanity.

Well, you're basing that off the generalization of how strong the people in those ages are. Not necessarily discriminating them for their age...

And elders are fuckin' awesome!! ;-; I love learning about history... Maybe not the ol' "BACK IN MY DAY WE DIDN'T HAVE TELEVISIONS..." shit, but like, the wars they were in, what happened during the Holocaust, etc....
I remember some old adage saying, "When an elder dies, it's like a library burning down," or something like that...
