Random First World Problem

RE: Random First World Problem
Worst parent to parent punishment is probably a drum set.

Although I do still have a flute-o-phone laying out of sight on the top of a curtain valance -- about 7' high. That sum bitch drove me out of my mind. It's been there for about 15 years now.

No doubt, but I found one of the most excruciating pains in the world is taking the upturned foot of a Barbie doll in the arch.

My oldest has been begging for Minecraft, evidently a lot of his friends at school are always talking about it.

I once met a woman... in her 40's who plays with LEGOs...
She plays so much, she has a flikr account where she puts some photos of her creations... most are microscale, and most are very good!
Here, check it out:http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/

And every once in a while she shows her LEGO organization method:

She once showed my a really cool website where they sell LEGO pieces in bulk... it's LEGO heaven!

For my kids, I once got one of these:

I sorted and organized all the pieces to fit in there.... a few weeks later, the drawers were empty... the damned kids enjoyed the organization, but couldn't be bothered to put the pieces back in their places! -.-'

Thus illustrating that organizing legos for your kids is hopeless.

So she sorts by type of piece, not color... Hmmm.... Plus that orange contraption in the pic is awesome!! We got a set with one, its specifically for prying apart stuck Legos, genius! And about damn time!

That sounds painful! I'm so glad I have boys... If I had to get Barbies, I hated them when I was little...

Minecraft is a great idea. My brother plays it all the time since he was 6. He can create anything he wants.

My mom bought me some play instruments when I was a kid, and one of them was a pair of cymbals. Apparently, I drove her nuts with it, and now she's scouring the earth to find a pair for my son.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

My parents forbade Legos after stepping on some. I felt so deprived! To make up for it, I now have little Lego-compatible Doctor Who figures. But no building blocks. I was never that creative with them. "What are you going to build?" "A building." ...
