On whether or not I was willing to watch over and care for every step of their recovery and reintergration into soceity... For most people I would stop them, because I dont have that kind of time nor those resources. But, God does and has let many people learn that lesson.

It's my goal to let someone step out in front of a bus one day! Big Grin
Ah, that says quite a bit.

Thank you Clarice, thank you.
Qui, pro quoe, doctor, quid pro quoe.

Who you stop a person from stepping out in front of a bus every time?

Why? is it because it is a fore gone conclusion that all buses people step out in front of do not have brakes?

What happened to teaching a man to fish?

Really? All of this just to decide what sorts of gods you and I could imagine? I'm disappointed. In any case, after all the feedback - have you decided which kind of gods you're going to be imagining on a regular basis?
Deceiving spirits, are not about people imagine gods. It's about demons appearing before men/a man labeling him a prophet, filling him full of crap, and sending him out into the world to pull well meaning people from God. Joey smith, mo-hammy all 'prophets' of deceiving spirits.

Sure....we could imagine all of those two, if you liked. And?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Nice, you've reduced our existence to the game of Frogger.

Quote:Why do children get cancer?

DNA is quite vulnerable versus free-flying neutrons.

Rare, but it happens. If not radiation, the already mentioned toxins like those in cigarettes cripple cells, or the random spontaneous mutation of cells with nuclear (cell nucleus) I/O problems all can lead to cancer. Try not to think of poison as a liquid or fume that destroys, but rather an agent that disables certain parts of cells. Cancer is not an infection but rather the effects of poor conditions. Just like growing crops with excess water. We lack immunity to our own cells, really.

And how do you know the same can't be said of your Jesus?

How are you going to teach him anything if he gets flattened by a bus? You do realize that when people die, they don't learn anything, don't you?
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell
