Oh wow!
A few... been catching up on a few Marvel flicks - Ironman 3 - 2013. Hooray for building awesome stuff that just works with no testing! Except the suit... that one needs more than 50 attempts. Oh, and there's a bad guy that found a sort of super-drug that turns some people into super-soldiers.... and some just can't take it and blow up... making it look like a terrorist attack. It's amazing how bad guys in movies have access to amazing funding! - The Incredible Spiderman 2 - 2014. Cute continuation of the previous one.... but a repetition of the same old theme - the hero can't have a family, or loved ones.... but has them anyway. They get in harm's way, he has to rescue them. - Guardians of the Galaxy - 2014. Hugely fun! I thought it had too much hype, but turns out that no... it's awesome! - Avengers, Age of Ultron - 2015. One more stone to cause trouble for the heroes. Lots of fighting and CGI later, all's well with the world, but Thor must go in search of the last troublesome stone... setting up the next movie, huh? non-marvel - The Witch - 2016. Maybe it's the version I saw... streaming and stuff... but I couldn't understand half the things they said... subtitles were in chinese, so those didn't help! The premise seems simple - a family settles in a piece of land, in New England, way back in the 1800's. 2 adults, 5 children... one by one, the children get picked off.... and it seems to be the work of some magical entity in the woods nearby... but is it?! - The Revenant - 2015. Might as well see what all the hype is about. OooooOOO pretty scenery! The locations are awesome! The action works. The fighting... meh - how can a guy drag himself by one arm, when that shoulder was hit by a bullet just 3 minutes ago? Also, could they aim those muskets down? didn't the bullet fall off? oh... inaccuracies... maybe I should check the movie mistakes site. - My Big Fat Greek Wedding - 2002. Hugely fun! Somehow, I think there a satire in there.... how americans see the people from small southern european countries... very into their own culture and always thinking that greek (in this case) is better. Can't say I'd be much different! RE: The Last Movie You Watched

MBFGW was actually written by the lead actress based on her own experiences growing up as a Greek American. It's a satirical portrait of her own culture and the members of her family, which is why it turned out so lovely. She merely moved the setting fron canada to chicago.

"Criminal" with Kevin Costner, It was just ok, not worth a movie ticket.
Lord of the Rings for the twenty-seven billionth time.
It was on cable, at my parents'. I know my mother's seen it at least 5 or 6 times, yet that didn't stop her from saying "Ooh...What happens next?" or "He dies, doesn't he?" no less than 20 times.
American Sniper.
It was just okay. That fake baby was a real distraction.

It was great a action movie with hardly any romance is a 10 outta 10 in my book. A adrenaline fueled rampage all the way through.
