The Last Movie You Watched
RE: The Last Movie You Watched
Forbidden Planet (1956).  I enjoyed it when Walter Pidgeon delivered his lines as Dr Morbius: IMO, his various commentaries on humanity along with the successes of the far more advanced Krell civilization, was deep and interesting; he also has a marvelous voice, which made his delivery even more awesome.

Love, Simon.

I loved it!

When I was at school we called that the weekend.

Of course, the evil supernatural force was my mother and her sisters...

So you were the down under version of Cinderella?

I have not seen any horror movies, my favorite genre, in a while. I used to watch them all the time with a certain someone. When he disappeared, I could not bring myself to watch another horror movie. Trying to get back into watching them.

More like Punkerella...

You can’t beat sitting alone in a dark room watching a good horror movie.

Unfortunately there are so few good horror movies. I’m not interested in movies about some deranged psycho running around killing teens in messy and inventive ways while they’re trying to screw.

That’s not horror.

More like a long weekend out with friends.

What'd I tell you about hacking my laptop's webcam?

What'd I tell you about hacking my laptop's webcam?

That I was welcome to do it any time I wanted, day or night.

Which is kinda creepy, really!

I saw Leave No Trace last week in a theater. An independent movie about a dad and his daughter living rough in the woods near Portland, Oregon. It wasn't bad. Probably better than Hotel Transylvania 3, which was the other option that day. Big Grin
Planning on seeing 3 Identical Strangers this week - I keep hearing it's good!

Frances McDormand, Sam Rockwell, and Woody Harrelson -- three of my favorite actors.

Darkest Hour

Quote:In May 1940, the fate of Western Europe hangs on British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, who must decide whether to negotiate with Adolf Hitler, or fight on knowing that it could mean a humiliating defeat for Britain and its empire.

I like Gary Oldman a lot, but I don't think this was his best performance. Still a very good movie.
