I am a huge Star Wars fanatic, and would gladly watch any of the movies any day...except for Episode I, which we don't talk about. I feel like the only good things that Episode I had were Liam Neeson and Dark Maul. Besides that it was, quite literally, garbage (in my opinion).

I'd take Episode I over Episode II any day.

I didn't like Episode II that much either, to be honest. For some reason I still liked it better than Episode I though.

The very concept of romance died in Episode II. But apart from that, I really thought that the CGI was not up to the task, and that bothered me massively.

I can agree with that. For some reason, I just hate Episode I more than any other. I'd hate to go with the popular reasoning for this one, but one of the main reasons is because of the infamous Jar Jar Binks. He is a terrible character...

Why did a character like him have to exist? It baffles me.

The thought about having a blackface minstrel show on Naboo, but decided that it was not offensive enough.

I can see that. But I do not forgive Lucas for allowing JJB to taint Star Wars.
