I Saw X-Men Apocalypse. Man was that a repeat of movie 1. 1st off Charles, Eric, Beast as well as other returning characters, should've been older by now, Should've been acting like similar to Patrick Stewart and Ian MaKennen by now. Charles and Eric felt they had almost all of their character development removed from them. I actually didn't like the Magneto Origin Story V3, because we've seen him become evil after losing someone he loves already. And granted Charles kinda acts like Patrick Stewart at the begging of the movie, but when he goes to see the CIA chick he acts like a stumbling teenager again. And that's the problem with this movie. It should've clearly taken place after the Future in DOFP. That way we would've already had an established team and we could take the Apocalypse a lil more seriously. And retelling and redeveloping these established characters was really not needed. Heck the whole 1st portion, and parts after that felt like a rehash of X1 and X2. The wolverine portion, while awesome was literally not needed. I think Apocalypse was ok, but I also think that he was seriously underplayed and underdeveloped. And you'd think that a person with a movie named after him would have more character development , do more things and be in the movie more. It would've been better if the X-Men already existed, Eric stayed out of this movie and Apocalypse rose and we just jumped into it. The only good portions are the action scenes and the fan service, but 1 fan service, Jubilee, was literally just there to be bait candy. In My Opinion, it was kinda ok. A 2.5 out of 5. But you won't see me rewatching it.

The Mildew from Planet Xonader.
Terrible movie with terrible acting and music.
But on purpose, so it was actually a great movie and good fun to watch.

Finished the first season of
The Detectorists about a couple guys that are into metal detecting and are looking for a Saxon hoard in the British countryside. Not as boring as it sounds, I promise!
Need to figure out where to get season 2 now, tho.
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.

Deadpool. Went with my sister and we both loved it.
I don't really watch a lot of movies. Mostly netflix binging. Only other movie I've watched this year is The Force Awakens.

Just watched "Innocence" on Netflix. It was one of those films that looks like the budget suddenly ran out and they had to finish it in a couple of scenes with money from the tea kitty.
Watched Deadpool last night. Very good.

Fucking loved it. I can't even start with all my favorite scenes because I'll just end up transcribing the screenplay.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

I was so thrilled.
Spiderman was a close as he's ever been to the portrayal in the comics. Plenty of ass-kicking, no shortage of man-candy, great special effects; Total package.
Was not crazy about Wanda and the Vision, though.
Other than that, YES.
