"Haunter" (2004). Abigail Breslin ("Ender's Game) battles the uber-creepy Stephen McHattie ("The Dark Stranger") for the life of her family. McHattie has the edge, because he's already dead.

This movie you have to watch twice to catch everything.

Oh, my husband and I watched that a few months ago! Yeah, it had a few creepy parts but overall neither of us were very impressed.

I thought it was good, enjoyable, not something I'd probably see again, but amusing and informative.

Watched Captain Phillips last night

Oh, I really liked Captain Phillips! I want to be best friends with Tom Hanks. [emoji39]

Just watched Allegiant. 3/10 (by the end, I didn't give a rats about who lived and who died. What does that tell you.) Loved the first though. What a pity.

If you like scary movies and are looking for something less cookie-cutter, and a bit more thought provoking, I recommend The Witch. It just came out so it's not on Netflix; you have to purchase it off demand or Vudu or one of those places, but I'd say it's worth it.

Watched it on Amazon, I think. Very traditionalist view as it was taken from old sources. It's what people believed was happening in those days.

I did notice that Dad was willing to risk the lives of his entire family to maintain his position in some no doubt picayune religious dispute. Something along the lines of "thee vs. thou" no doubt.
