A Dutch admiral who kicked the shit out of the English in the late 17th century. Fascinating - even with subtitles. Better than expected. Quite watchable.
Passengers (2017) I actually really enjoyed this movie. I felt so relaxed watching it and it was so refreshing to watch an SF movie that's not some remake or sequel or about superheroes. I mean I'm not saying it's some sort of 7th wonder of the world or the new cinema classic and to be frank it did get really corny and cheap near the end, but I still liked it more then many of SF movies in last couple of years. I almost wish there was a sequel to this.
Green Lantern, Ryan Reynolds.
Better than I expected, considering how it was ripped apart by everyone who saw it. Not great but 5/10. Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???" Not great, but I didn't fall asleep. It was part of a Blomkamp box set. (February 20, 2017 at 8:03 pm)Jörmungandr Wrote: I saw it as a download. Wouldn't buy it but it had its moments. Saw Get Out today. Really liked it, but wasn't quite what I expected.

We watched "The Running Man" last night. Apart from the obviously dated everything and the corny Arnie one-liners, it was a good film.
Oi...I jest feneshed wootching a moo-vie about a daingerous goy who comes to Men-heh-tan.
He's gawt a knoif!
