Can't get into the 'Jurassic' series of films, mainly due to them getting it backwards.
In the first film (can't speak to the others, haven't seen them), the human characters seem to spend a lot of time being chased by velociraptors and other carnivores, while cozying up to the gentle plant-eaters. This, to put it mildly, is bullshit. As a rule, carnivores only attack people if they happen to be hungry when a human walks by (less commonly if they're cornered or have young). Herbivores tend to turn you into chutney on general principles.

addendum: We do NOT import zombies for manual labour. Our zombies are locally sourced, tyvm.

No.
NZ is best known for exporting zombies - I mean “people” - to Australia.

A Most Violent Year... Absolutely loved it!
If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.

The Lodgers
Quote:1920, rural Ireland. Anglo Irish twins Rachel and Edward share a strange existence in their crumbling family estate. Each night, the property becomes the domain of a sinister presence (The Lodgers) which enforces three rules upon the twins: they must be in bed by midnight; they may not permit an outsider past the threshold; if one attempts to escape, the life of the other is placed in jeopardy. When troubled war veteran Sean returns to the nearby village, he is immediately drawn to the mysterious Rachel, who in turn begins to break the rules set out by The Lodgers. The consequences pull Rachel into a deadly confrontation with her brother - and with the curse that haunts them.

I just watched the midnight express. It's a 9 out of 10.
I loved the violence, the characters the suspense. And the 70s soundtrack
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.

Anybody seen "Inherent Vice"? Took me a minute to recognize the lady from "Fantastic Beasts". She was more fantastic breasts in this one.

IP Man 2.
My main problem with the movie was that I thought all along that "IP Man" is a description of a man who is an "IP". I didn't think of it as a full Chinese name.
But overall, the first was way better. I just find the beating of 1434435 full grown men at the same time by a very skinny guy not quite...satisfying.
