The Last Movie You Watched

Quote:A young newlywed arrives at her husband's imposing family estate on a windswept English coast and finds herself battling the shadow of his first wife, Rebecca, whose legacy lives on in the house long after her death.

So is it better than the Hitchcock version?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

The crew at work has been invited to go to it on the 13th, compliments of the company.  I'm not going, but that's why I decided to watch the first one.

I watched a movie, can you guess by the description which one?

He was untouchable. No one could kill him although everyone wanted to. He was smarter than everyone else and was always a few steps ahead of everyone. All he wanted was to know the truth and for the truth to be known. By the end of the movie, he killed everyone and won.
