The Last Movie You Watched

RE: The Last Movie You Watched
Oblivion. It was the only thing remotely viewable at the local theater and I went to escape the heat.

It was better than I expected.

Basic.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

World War Z. It's a good movie and all, but I think the book would be much better served by creating a miniseries based on it, a la Game of Thrones.

On DVD: Major Dundee. It's one of Peckinpah's earliest films, easily one of his best, and I think it may be the greatest movie about the Civil War ever. It simply needs to be seen.

My father took me to see this in the theater, but I was younger than 10. Last night I started watching for nostalgia's sake knowing that bedtime was only a half hour away. Got to bed three hours later. Perhaps my favorite war film now. Certainly top five.

Also one of my favorites. I'll have to dig it out and watch it again.

Today, I saw Unfinished Song in the theater. I very much liked it. Came close to being another "Up", emotionally.

Europa Report

For a modern sci-fi it was actually very well done, especially the character development and the journey. The ending was kind of predictable but I liked it.

We do not go to the movies often, watch the DVDs, Sherlock Holmes was the latest, Unstoppable is probably next.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

I just watched Fight Club earlier today on the television. I must have seen that movie over 50 times and I still love it, when it comes on I have to watch it.
