Most recently, I re-watched Paris, Texas. Damn, I'd forgotten how that film guts me. The scene in which Harry Dean Stanton's and Nastassja Kinski's characters talk through the one-way glass, reliving the dissolution of their relationship and the resulting heartbreak that drove them both to abandon their son, is so beautifully acted and so painful to watch! For those who haven't seen this, I can't recommend it strongly enough.
The only other film by Wim Wenders I've seen is Wings of Desire, which I also love. I really must see his other works.

The Fault in Our Stars...
...sadly.
Luke: You don't believe in the Force, do you?
Han Solo: Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen *anything* to make me believe that there's one all-powerful Force controlling everything. 'Cause no mystical energy field controls *my* destiny. It's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.

Apocalypse Now, for the umpty umpth time.
It has IMHO the best opening sequence of any movie ever made. The slow motion aerial ballet of the helicopters, the bloom of the napalm burst and Martin Sheen's descent into dementia, all set to The Doors "The End" is high art.
Most people don't recognize that this isn't a Viet Nam war movie, but a morality play and more, set in Viet Nam.
It asks the questions, what is morality, what is not. What is civilization and civilized behavior, what is not. What is sanity, what is not.
Absolutely my #1 movie ever.
PS: don't bother with the Redux version.

The one I love. It was pretty decent, but the one before that was mr. Nobody which was extremely refreshing.
