Got shanghaied into going to see 'The Hobbit'. My review:
I hated this film. I hated everything about it. This might be the ONLY film I've ever seen with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. The casting was bad, the effects were tedious, the story was unrecognizable. The motivations of the main characters (Gandalf, Bilbo, and Thorin) made me wonder what the hell I was watching. The first film in the series was wretched enough (didn't see the second one), but this one is the capstone on the mountain of shit that is Peter Jackson's whorishness.
I'd sooner be raped by a syphilitic camel with gangrene than sit through this dreck again.

Watched Guardians of the Galaxy for the Galaxy for the 2nd time and it was just as good as the first time I saw it in theaters on Mushrooms

I just watched "The Grand Budapest Hotel." I love Wes Anderson.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

"The Golden Door" on Netflix. Unbelievably bad. Two (or was it 20?) hours I'll never get back.
