Ah.. what a croc of a documentary.
Of all the interviews, only 4 were with actual experts... the rest were with kids in college... and we all know how kids are great debaters... and a few other john does on the street... awesome!
Approach someone on the street and ask them how a a simple bread toaster works... How many can actually answer such a basic thing?.... now edit out the ones that can actually answer it... make a video.. and voila: no one knows how a bread toaster works.
Here, it's the same thing... did they show the "evolution into a new kind" replies from the experts, once they realized what Ray meant with the word "kind"? I must have missed them... but the kids on the street were baffled, duh!!
Good thing I didn't waste time watching this and only left it running in the background and listened to it, while working...back to proper listening...Dvorak, 9th!
So he doesn't know the different between "beliefs" and something you believe is true.

Quote:Belief-in
To "believe in" someone or something is a distinct concept from "believe-that." There are two types of belief-in:[12]
Commendatory - an expression of confidence in a person or entity, as in, "I believe in his ability to do the job."
Existential claim - to claim belief in the existence of an entity or phenomenon with the implied need to justify its claim to existence. It is often used when the entity is not real, or its existence is in doubt. "He believes in witches and ghosts" or "many children believe in Santa Claus" are typical examples.

I just viewed Evolution vs. God (purchased it though wretched.tv) I intended only to give it a quick run-through before heading off to a meeting. But then the film caught my undivided attention.
May we pray for the souls of the people interviewed by Ray in the piece, that through repentance and faith will become new creatures and be so well positioned to proclaim the Truth to a cohort of people many of us would only hope to reach for Christ.

It's fast paced but impressive. As a believer, I actually learned a lot from it in just 40 minutes. My wife and I are stunned and have a new view on the hostile take over of the scientific community by Athiesm now. Fantastic video!!!!

Evolution Vs. God was so good. I love to watch the expressions on the faces of people who are seriously giving thought to things they had not thought about before, or had not thought about in this way. I am so inspired by these videos. Keep up the great work, can't wait for the DVD's to be available to buy to hand out.

Defense & Offense collide in this fast moving DVD. Ray is brilliant and reminiscent of vintage Comfort with sharp questions and reasonable responses. Atheists are left (literally) scratching their heads.
Ray systematically & categorically dismantles the Atheists arguments with one question. One question. He brings his Bible A-game to the table. This makes this DVD different and effective. More importantly, the Gospel shines brightly in this presentation.

I hate watching anything to do with Ray Comfort, he makes me so angry, I go all green and start smashing stuff up
'The more I learn about people the more I like my dog'- Mark Twain
'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House
“Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom
"If my good friend Doctor Gasparri speaks badly of my mother, he can expect to get punched.....You cannot provoke. You cannot insult the faith of others. You cannot make fun of the faith of others. There is a limit." - Pope Francis on freedom of speech
I must admit, I found that Ray Comfort's banana argument did have a peel.
