Who cares about the definition. Let's say God appeared before you and told you I'm a fool. So the uncertainity on if I fit the definition was not in question.

Should you, or should you not, answer the Rahul?

God doesn't have to point out anything you're doing just fine on your own.

God is dumber than us if it's all up to us to point out his contradictions. Great response, GC. I think we found the answer after all.

Proverbs KJV:

Quote:{26:4} Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.
{26:5} Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.

Should we answer a fool, GC?

Should I answer a fool, should I, well the two verses you've cherry picked to make me look foolish has the answer. Verses 4 says I shouldn't answer the foolishness of a fool because it could make me look foolish, the writer of this Proverb says do not reward the fool with an answer because you could get pulled into a foolish argument. Yet the next verse says to answer the fool, does look like a contradiction, but wait, not so, the writer is telling us to discern the fools statement and if necessary answer the fool so he want think so much of himself, expose the foolishness of the fool so others can see his foolishness. So in the end were told to be careful and discern what you should do with a fool and his foolishness.

Do you have any idea that you had to resort to special pleading just to explain that to us?

Cherry picked? One immediately follows the other one.

That's not cherry picking.

I guess anyone can make sense out of any retarded shit. Especially theists. It's their stock and trade.

The answers came from many theologians, from many denominations, it is a standard accepted by many Christians. If you do not like it then that's your opinion, and that's that.

I don't like it because it doesn't make any sense and not because it's simply my opinion. Do you value opinion over fact, GC?

Exactly what facts do you have?
