So, I've been looking into this particular conspiracy theory (upon the suggestion of a friend who seems to believe it all) and I was wondering about what people on here might think. This particular theory seems to be similar if not the same as the 'illuminati' conspiracy. I'm aware there's a large amount of bollocks, but there does seem to be truth, or at least areas of interest in certain parts of this theory.

There's also a multitude of pseudo youtube vids out there, just type in things like federal reserve conspiracy, empire of the city etc if you're interested.
Basically this came about because I was being educated in how money is created, something I didn't really know about until a few days ago. After finding this out, and how governments owe debts to central banks, I kind of realised that governments seem to be in the pockets of these massive banking organisations (notably the Federal Reserve). I'm sure many of us have heard of the Rockefeller's and the Rothschild's? Well these are the wealthy families that supposedly 'rule the world' (if the conspiracy is to be believed) because they own large shares in these central banks.
Without delving into the perpetual rabbit hole too much, I was wondering who's came across this particular conspiracy before, I suspect a few will have, and what their take is on the whole thing. Apologies in advance if I seem to be a bit of a newb to this, and haven't spotted any glaring things to debunk it all, as I've only really been introduced to this theory recently.
