I am not going to lie. I have a few terrible nightmares. Usually involves me in a pass battle of some sort. I have lost friends before, and I have seen plenty of terrible things. I hope no one else has to go thru similar things. The smell is what usually wakes me. I hate the smell of burning flesh.
Ughh!

I hear there's nothing worse than that smell. Even if its just made in a surgical procedure its bad. I always hated the smell of the animals we had to dissect in school. Fermaldahide? Yuckkkkk
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

I only remember a few dreams. Something weird I'm reticent to share: sometimes my dreams seem to come true. I became quite sure after a recurring dream became a reality... I felt frightened as a big truck/lorry came towards me, was the dream. The reality was a driving lesson in my early 20's, pulling out of a petrol station and the dream becoming true to life. I'd never driven when i had the dream. The weather... everything is identical.
One possibility I thought was that some scenes are familiar to you. So the imagination, as powerful as it is, could easily fill in the interactions etc.. But then as I grew up and visited strange places and had new friends, places and people I would have no possibility of having any fore knowledge of, it still happened.
It's a weird feeling like your walking through a scene you've played out before. This happens to me loads. It still happens now. I dreamt I was back at my old job and I remember thinking that there was no way I would be getting a job back at this place again, yet it happened. Then I had a walk through again a few months later with the same sick feeling.
These things seem to serve no purpose. Once someone directed me to a book of exercises to note down stuff that I never kept up.
I kinda vary on what I think about it, from hugely skeptical, regarding it as superstitious nonsense to erm, some kind of scientifically explainable and as yet unknown phenomenon.

Last night I dreamt my Kindle melted in my pocket. I didn't realise I'd dreamt this, or that it was even weird, until I went on Amazon to buy a new one and it suddenly occurred to me that Kindles don't melt.

Hehe Nora, I hate it when my dreams feel as real as that .
Last night I was divorced with my sister and I remember waking up and thinking: "Why don't they make laws against marrying family?"

I have a dream that happened more than 10 years ago:
Alright. Evening time. Rural area. Backyard. A narrow path that goes straight from the back of the house to the end of the yard. Facing the back, there is a small but thick woods area on the right of the path and on the left there are some trees but spaced out. Further down the backyard pathway there is a small barn on the left. All the way down the path is a line of tall grass and bush, marked in the middle by a composting bin. My dream starts next to the compost. I am bored of exploring outside so I decide to head to the house. I am walking on the backyard path from the farthest part back next to the tall grass, to the house. There is somewhat of an incline. As I am halfway to the house, I hear a howl. So, I turn to look behind me, and I see a werewolf standing in the tall grass next to the compost where I just was. After 3 seconds the werewolf begins to move towards me. Nervous, very nervous, I turn towards the house to run for safety. I can hear the grunting getting louder and more fierce. But as I get closer to the house, I get slower. Like I am being glued or frozen. My dream ends as the creature mauls me. I woke up feeling pumped but not negative.
The creepiest part is the suspense and the imminent danger as a threat approaches.
The thought of a werewolf grimacing at me from 100m away is just... ugh.
And then I have dreams where I go blind and I put dish soap in my eyes without water to see again... in a house made of glass.
Then I have those nasty dreams about grinding my teeth.
I am usually not decent before I go to sleep and have this kind of dream.
Basically, the dream is about real life but not knowing You are asleep. You just clamp your teeth together at first but they cannot get unclenched. Then You try to open your mouth but all You do is press harder. Soon it feels like You are ripping and dislodging all of your teeth out slowly. It feels awful but the dream ends as soon as your set of teeth is fucked up. It really feels like You scar yourself.

Last night I had one of those weird vivid dreams where what's going on/where you are changes. At first I was running around some unfamiliar town at night trying to find something, while being followed by some militant-type people who wanted to kill me. I kept reaching dead ends and had to climb up or over walls or into buildings through the windows to get out of them.
Then I was some other place and it was daylight. I was at the edge of the woods with a high chan link fence in front of me. I was still aware that the people who wanted me dead were out there looking for me, but I was no longer being followed. On the other side of the fence was a grassy area and, a little way beyond it, some kind of hamlet with little thatched cottages with people milling around them. I wanted to get to the other side of the fence to the hamlet, but I couldn't find a gate or anything. I followed the fence along for a while and kept seeing little huts with the men who were looking for me outside them, but they couldn't see me. I gave up looking for a gate and decided to try digging under the fence to get to the other side, but it was somehow impossibe to dig. So I gave up on that too and looked around for ideas. I saw a woman to my left, on my side of the fence. I thought she would be able to help me, so I walked toward her. Then she lifted a gun and shot me straight through the throat. I tried to breathe, but I couldn't. Then I fell forward and woke up screaming like an idiot.

I have a recurring nightmare where I willingly post embarrassing stuff on Facebook but I don't realize it's embarrassing at the time I post it. Then immediately after I realize how embarrassing it is I try to delete it off of Facebook but the site malfunctions and won't let me. I then wake up at this point. Must have had this nightmare at least 5 times in the past few years.

Are you sure that one was a dream?
