I agree yes, but God does actually exist (imo) therefore you would be better to understand this than get into the whole atheism thing you're into. The guy in the video (Mark Driscoll) doesn't really understand this point and think atheists are believing something they like. "It's unbelievable that people would adopt this as hope for their life!"

Because you're deeply committed to attaining knowledge of what is true. So you wouldn't want to be ignorant of a real God who does actually exist and benefits this knowledge would give you.
