G-C thinks we are going to take his word for it. He has less credibility than Bush did on Iraq.

Finally. An honest man.
this website sure has taught me a lot in sticking up for myself in my personal life. I'm not an arguer but sometimes in life we end up arguing with people, and boy howdy am I happy with my ability to make a point now!
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite. Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment. Quote:Some people deserve hell. I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong. Life is better when you are a bit off.
I'm guessing as an intellectual exercise. Although if I were to characterize that exercise I'd call it 'running in place.'

Actually I was thinking of something and wondered how atheists would answer it so I began looking for an atheist message board. I liked this board because there seem to be some posters on here who don't back up their arguments with foul language and insults.
