Listening to classical, and procrastinating on getting ready for a dinner party in La Jolla. Been sleeping like crazy today.

Feeling sad. Buddy, my three legged Golden pal, is really struggling. He is dealing with pneumonia and is in intensive care for the third time. We are having quality of life conversations. On my way to go sit with him and love on him for a while.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

hearts and hugs to you... so sorry to hear...
Going to try to stop procrastinating. I love the forum though... time stealer.
Son's play was awesome on Thursday night... Beauty and the Beast. They did great, although it was opening night, quite a few bugs. Those kids just pushed through like their mics were working perfectly! Their lines learned, choreography fantastic! Very proud mom.
Now trying to tie up loose ends for vacation. Woot! Lots of stuff to do over the next week.

Thanks, guys. He's struggling to breathe, but he's such a fighter. It's tough to separate your feelings from what's best for the dog. He was really happy to see me, but I had to be careful not to get his heart rate up. His white blood cell count was 39,000. Normal is 6-17k.

Now (sorry it's a little blurry, but he's lost so much weight you can see his cheek bones...):

Just got a nice surprise. A customer brought one of my paintings by to show me how she'd framed it. Looks good.
