Definitely not a good sign. That's how I got sacked when I first moved down here. The owner's daughter took my job.

But the new boss seems like a good fella so I think I'll give him a go.

Anybody who sacks employees just to make room for family is straight up untrustworthy. I'd find a new job and get the frak out, but that's just me.

I finally got it figured out. It's so simple. I'm dead. I've been dead all along. That's why nobody can see me, or hear me. Everyone's forgotten about me. I can't touch anything, or anyone, I can't feel anything. It explains everything - I'm dead and this flat is my tomb.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

As for my job, I can't help but feel secure because I have such a very high opinion of my skills. ;-)
But seriously, in this town I have a good reputation and regular enquiries and suggestions of mutiny from other places.
I haven't needed a resume for my last few jobs.
I doubt I'll be writing one anytime soon.

Trying to figure out why my damned mouse has lost its right-click. I've restarted the computer which should have done something but it didn't, I've wiggled wires, and now, short of stomping on the thing, I'm out of ideas.

Also, I heard this morning that Ted Cruz announced for 2016. I'm nauseated now.
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
