We finally watched Interstellar. Blech, why the unrealistic schmaltz! Why does the supposedly smart female scientist blather on about maybe love being a dimension beyond time yet to be understood. Oxygen deprivation? Prometheus syndrome? Give me my physics straight without kitschy relationship BS.

Most importantly, to quote Boromir, you do not simply leave a planet near a black hole with time dilation factor 100000. You just don't. And especially not using rockets. That's not how relativity works. To do that, you would need a zillion bazillion times all the energy produced by humans in the history of ever.It is beyond me how none of the physicist reviewers I read mention this plot killing flaw.
