Fucking AutoDESK!
Maybe I'll have to play around with this today to find out just how loathsome 2016 is. Then I'll just go back to using 2015 cause it's installed on my computer too.

I am entirely new to it.
If you are willing to share, I welcome any tips or advice.
I'm largely self-taught since my school didn't require students to learn a CAD program (!!!) so I started with an AutoCAD for Dummies book. All the tips and tricks I've learned have come from googling and my coworkers.
My only real pro-tip is to figure out a work style that works best for you. I prefer to use the keyboard commands but some of my coworkers do certain functions through the right-click menu, so just figure out what seems the most intuitive to you and gives you the quickest results.
If you're having specific questions you can PM me; I may or may not have the answer or a work-around. My CAD work is architectural and my office uses AutoCAD LT so my program doesn't have full functionality, so there are some things I simply have no idea how to do and some things I will simply never need to do because of the type of work I do.

(Ironically, The Black Oil was also known as "Purity" LOL)
It's a little bit of a hyperbolic statement; a school project was what kicked things off, but the topic of that project was inspired by the X-Files.

Thank you very much, I appreciate that! I won't be starting any CAD courses right away, but in the coming year I will.
Then perhaps we can trade tips, too.
Maybe I'll pick up that book, also.
thanks again!!

Sat in a villa halfway up the mountain in Tenerife overlooking Costa Adeje as the sun sets, tunes are playing, red wine is flowing. Resting my weary body.

Still up to my ears in dealing with contractors. Not bad really, mostly I like contractors, I just don't like having to pay them.

Just killed a GIANT spider that waltzed in to my room all like 'sup'
I tried to kill it by hitting it but when I took a swing it ran towards me so I ran away and it hid in the corner so I got the vacuum cleaner ._.
I'm so scared I'm not gonna sleep tonight ._.
It was HUGE and had a fat butt ._.
Someone hug me ._.

Reminding myself why eating poutine at lunch on a work day is a bad idea.
