I've got no problems with spiders.

But these last few days, one of these comes flying into my room. And they can really hurt you. 2 centimeters full of poison.

After having them build a nest just above my bedroom window and manually killing dozens of the suckers, I got rid of my fear of wasps completely. Used to scare me, now I have no problem taking one out

About ten year ago I let a tarantula crawl around on my arm because my girls wanted to see it up close but didn't want it on their arms.  Do I get the mother of the year award?


Not that I really deserve it; I'm not particularly spider phobic.  It was kinda interesting really, though a little tickly.

When I was 8, I went to get the mail, opened the mailbox, and two wasps flew down my throat, stinging my esophagus 4 times on the way down.

I nearly died because my throat closed up. I had to carry an epi-pen for a year because my mom freaked out.
