Honestly, I blame the people who just put up with the changes and never push back. Granted, when you're not the one footing the bill for the software it makes it harder, but so many people go to AutoDESK sponsored events and fawn over the latest bells and whistles they never use. It gives the development teams the idea that they're doing something right instead of fixing shit that ain't broke. It's especially bad when the new "features" take precedence over things that really are broken!

Or, if you really, really really must use autoCAD - stick with a particular version until the new version has a tool that you truly need.
Most of us are stuck using whichever version the company provides with little or no say in when to upgrade.
