it's a first gen iPad, so it might actually melt...  It crashes out of programs all the time if I look at the screen wrong and it's too old to get updates or, like, any new programs...

I don't know what it's original intended use was. It was formerly my dad's iPad, which he used twice a year when he flew somewhere and wanted to watch Hunt for Red October on the plane, then my netbook died and my mom got a brand new tablet from Verizon for free for some reason so they gave the the iPad as a "replacement" for the netbook. Can't pay bills on it, can't do word processing on it, can hardly navigate AF.org without it crashing or logging me out, so I mostly play this penguin game where you slide around on your belly eating fish and launching yourself off hills...
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.

I'm expectantly savoring the thought of having one of my favorite comfort dishes (a mixture of fish, rice, kimchi, Chinese broccoli, and fish sauce) for dinner.
