I found a publisher in California and he had my book edited. so now I'm going through the editing using Word's Track Changes feature. I've also started back working on a new novel about ...well if I tell you, I'll have to kill you. And, at the suggestion of Abaris, I'm reading about medieval Muslims. Add coming here to talk to my AF family, I manage to work in a few luxuries like eating, sleeping and am thinking about hiring somebody to go to the bathroom for me.

Just watched with friends the UFC Ronda Rousey fight, and wow...what an upset. She lost her champion title, for all who follow her, did you see it? Quite the upset. But, Holly Holm her opponent, just seemed to bring her A game. It almost looked like Rousey wasn't there or something, like her mind or heart wasn't there.
Anyway, going to bed now

Yes, she seems a lot more humble than Rousey. I like Rousey a lot, she's determined and a very strong athlete, but being cocky isn't a trait that ever gets you far in life. Eventually, behaving like that will trip you up. IMO.

And, you know, I almost don't think that Ronda should get a rematch. I love her, too, and being champ for so long should get you a rematch, but that fight was so decisive that I think the next fight should go to someone else. Plus, it would be fun to see Ronda have to climb again. Something was off with her tonight, and I think this loss will teach her what that was.
