I think they stole a day. Yesterday, wife asked me what day it was, and I could have sworn it was Wednesday. What is going on here!!!

I have a niece. My brother got a 14 year old girl pregnant some years back (because he's a disgusting human being). I only got to meet my niece a couple of times, as her grandparents weren't all to keen on the idea of their daughter interacting with relatives of the statutory rapist (understandable) and Jenna was only 15 when Sophia was born so she kind of had to do whatever her parents said. Recently Jenna and I have been talking and I was planning to visit her for Christmas and make arrangements so I could be a part of Sophia's life. She had a lot of health problems but she had been doing so well. Last week I got pictures of her taking her first steps even though the doctors said she would never walk. Yesterday morning she passed away unexpectedly. I wasn't very close to her, but she was my niece and I was holding on to that chance to be her aunt and to be in her life. She never made it to her 3rd birthday.
