Kids in regular classes weren't jerks too? I will take smarter, better dressed, pretentious jerks, over insufferable oafish jerks any day. The kids who were in advanced classes didn't seem like jerks anyways. If they thought that I was below them they probably wouldn't bother with me either. So I dunno how it would even be a problem, the point is I would have been more comfortable around smarter people.

Wow. Someone misinterpreted what I said in the "what is the best definition of intelligence thread" when they thought I said I was in advanced classes but hated doing work. So this guy spent like 7 paragraphs ripping me apart on a false predicate, then he gets like 6 kudos. Fuck this world. Now there's probably a couple dozen people going around, thinking that I said people in advanced classes are unintelligent and stupid. No, god damn. I said that people in regular classes are obnoxious and stupid, I wish that I could be in advanced classes, or as I stated in the thread "the high echelons of society", because those people seemed way more interesting and cool. Fuuuuuuuck. Do you see how far people take misinterpretations?

I started young. They put me in AP in the first grade, and everything went down hill from there.

We were given the option of having my youngest tested to see if she qualified to skip a grade. We politely declined because we didn't want her to have that sort of pressure. She would have been the youngest in her class and we didn't feel that she would do well in that arena. Grateful for the decision we made, she has managed to stay with kids her own age as well as remain on the distinguished honor roll list. This year, she is in all advanced/accelerated classes and she's still pulling down top grades. She is still reminded, however, that she needs to be respectful, mind her manners and remember that everyone is different. She makes friends easily and is an all around good kid. She's still a teenager so I find myself constantly utilizing teachable moments where she can always improve her life outside of school.

There's a really noticeable and fun rhythm to the boss encounters. Nothing by itself is hard, but it's definitely possible to get overwhelmed if you mess up. Just enough difficulty to keep a good awareness of what's going on.
