I was going to bake a pizza, but the lazies hit, so I'm just having my usual spicy beef broth.

I set up three DVD / Blu-ray drives and am ripping about 25 music CDs. I expect it to take another couple of hours.

I got up at 04:30 for nothing. The roster was wrong. It said I'm 06:20 start. I got to work at 06:15 only to discover that HR fucked up the roster and I don't actually start till 12:40. So I'm going back home now. Just got on the bus.

See, I know I was asked to change my shft to 12:40 last week, but when the final roster came out, it said 06:20, and someone else was working 12 hours; so I thought they'd covered that afternoon bit with his 12 hour shift, so I didn't question it.

My sister is home, so I'm totally going home via McDonald's to grab her some breakfast and get myself a hashbrown. She didn't like the dinner I got her last night, so I owe her something nice. Lol

Currently being reminded why I collaborate with musicians, rather than leaving it solely to them after initial planning. That'll teach me to say "do whatever you want."

I am watching my niece and nephew. My nephew is sick so he gets to play video games all day, whereas I have to get my niece ready for my mother to bring to school when she gets home. They have 'pajama day' today, so I don't even have to fucking dress her. And then later while my sister in law watches my nephew, I get to walk to the school and bring my niece home and she has been wanting to walk to or from school for a while now. Legit sauce.

Picking images from a large collection of images of fine art and paintings to create a short list for display on my wall mount TV / digital canvas. So far I've gone through about 175, most of which I kept (111 retained and sorted; they were each grouped as "Amazing" paintings, and they are true to that adjective - the bulk are quite amazing).

I think I'll aim for getting 500 images picked, or 1,000 examined before I switch off this task and back-burner it.
