Christmas Shopping: Complete.

I'm glad that shit's over. I hate hate hate shopping so much. I'd do it all online if I wasn't sure half of them wouldn't turn up if they were sent through Royal Mail.

Haha. I always consider doing mine really early, like May or September, because the shops are especially quiet then for some reason. But then I think shit like "What if someone dies between now and Christmas?" Or "What if I die between now and Christmas?" And "What if they get this for themselves before Christmas?" And I basically scare myself out of it.

Depression is eating me again. Feeling overwhelmed by the computer stuff I need to do today. Feeling unable to cope with all the cold traveling without a car, and thinking maybe I should just curl up inside and stop going out. There doesn't seem to be much point to it if I'm gonna be dead in six months anyway. Why am I doing any of it?

Roasting a chicken for dinner I was going to have last night, but got asked out on a date -- which then had to be rescheduled because he got called in to work at the last minute, so I had something else last night instead. We had the occasion to go to our local hardware store yesterday. Talk about people! I didn't think that there were THAT many people in my area! We were on a P&A mission, so come the new year (and some discretionary $) some house projects can get finished.

Now? Finishing my morning coffee and about to hit the shops on a buying mission. Later tackling the creation of a "Yule Log" from scratch. What could possibly go wrong?

Also including a prior set of collections of hand selected images of Asian actresses, musicians and models, which, though not the focus of this effort, adds another 13,000 images to choose from, albeit not fine art.
