Just spent a couple of hours with the hedge trimmer and all sorts of herbicides to try and take back my lawn. The weeds have been atrocious this winter. The Wild Garlic is especially heinous.

I just replaced the shock absorbers in the washing machine, I hope that fixes it.
Quite a job, not anxious to move that thing back out and take it apart again of it's still fucked up.
Emergency Backup Cat #2 roused from his coma long enough to check out the repair procedure and not be helpful at all.

I'm debating on whether or not I want to take my ass to bed and lay there reading the forums on my phone, or just stay up and post from my laptop, where it's easier. Pros and cons with both.

Back from an intense neighborhood council meeting. Our city councillor was there, as were a few people running to replace him when he terms out, along with two new neighborhood councillors.
I also have a cold, and also had an argument with my mother, who is in Hawaii.
Mixed day. Tomorrow, I need to get to a doctors appointment that requires three busses each way. Might taxi, but their dispatch is in Utah, which makes no sense,.
