What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
Turning on Anthony Bourdain puts me to sleep in minutes. Don't know why, I actually like his show. His voice is very relaxing to me.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Oh no! That's not fair. I hope it doesn't mess with your exams Sad

I love that guy, I have all his books.
I love Gordon Ramsey also, but in a different way.
I also have all his books.
I do not love Marco Pierre White, but I respect the shit out of him.

Only violence against animals seems to bother me for some reason.

I like that shit too. Morbid fascination.
There's a book I think you would like.
It's called Exquisite Corpse.
Poppy Z. Brite is the author.
Anything by Mo Hayder is good too.

I suppose I could turn on Netflix...

I find invoking quantum woo is the quickest way to lose my interest, and that is, in essence, Penrose's argument.

What I have seen of his arguments why quantum effects are essential to consciousness looks just naive and wrong. I think they have originated in a time when too little was known about brain function.
