Up in the middle of the night, pondering going back to bed.

I went to bed with the idea of sleep. Yet here I am on the forums, on my phone.

For myself, I noticed that when in bed, surfing on my phone keeps me awake almost indefinitely, while in stark contrast, when reading a conventional book, I sleep perfectly well after some time.

That's because you don't properly configure your e-reader...
I have mine on minimal backlight setting (it's automatic, no light around, means it dims the backlight to the minimum), black background with white letters. Works perfectly! Even on the bus to work, in the morning!

I was being unclear, reading a book should have included e-reader. I have my kindle on minimal light setting. I meant to contrast reading with something it is about internet surfing that keeps me awake.

The browser on my phone has a night mode (dolphin browser, FTW!!) and I can vouch for the sleep inducing qualities of some threads on this forum!

They made off with my debit card (now cancelled), my driver's license, my keys, and my work cell phone. So what am I up to, besides working today? Getting my locks changes, replacing my D.L., and getting a new work phone activated. Later, I'll see if the police have anything on the incident, but I'm not holding my breath.
