TEFL or CELTA? Best of luck with it anyway.

Thanks!

Went TEFL because it's cheaper, faster paced and I probably won't do English teaching long term. Just want to do it for a change of scene and to test the water if teaching is a career I want to pursue long term.

Well, if you go Brazil I've a friend from another forum who's from Porto Alegre, swears blind it's much nicer than anywhere else in Brazil.

Does look nice there in pictures, just looked it up. Should be more affordable than the massive cities too I'm guessing?

Tbh I'm not that fussy about where exactly I go, as long as it's a relatively large city in a country that speaks some kind of Romance language, so I'd be game for that.

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
