When you're checking new code against the old one.... and realize the old one was wrong! O.o
(well, actually, it's not my fault... it's just IDL's Hilbert function that works differently from Matlab's... and intel's IPPs Library's version works just like the one in Matlab.... sigh... so much for IDL)

We each come from a given background that informs our brain as how to interpret the scribbles we see...
Have you considered seeing a psychologist?
(I can "pretend" to be one and see you... ahem.... purely professionally, of course.)

But I had no choice in the matter.... something to do with pre-existing code that would take too long to convert.
