Just found two recipes the kids and I will be trying this weekend.
Homemade vanilla wafers and homemade potato chips.

Season that salad with olive oil and nothing else (an advice brought to you by the Mediterranean diet ).
OMG poca the chicken was amazing. Kitty grilled it in the skin last night (I took the skin off mine), with an olive oil and fresh herb rub. It was amazing and not dry at all, even the next day on salad.
I'll try plain olive oil - that sounds good with some feta.
Oh...grilled with skin and some herbs... Well, that changes it a bit. Good call, kitty!
Are you doing anything else, besides changing your meals? (Many diets fail, because they're not accompanied by the correct shift in lifestyle, you know?)

Heatheness. She deleted a bunch of reps. The male nip referendum hasn't gone well for her.

Yes... I'm taking on more physical activity day by day. I've started leaving my car at home and walking to the bus, for example. I can't change everything at once of course. I want to get a bicycle to take some pressure off my joints.

Awesome!
About a year ago, I started going to work by bus and returning home by foot... it's a daily 6.5km (4 mile, for the metric-impaired) walk. Takes me about 1 hour and 5 minutes... the bus, had I to wait for it, would take up to 45 minutes... so it's not that much of a time loss.
At the same time, I cut down a bit on the intake... not much, I admit, I could cut further, but it's enough for me.
In the time since, I lost some belly, gained some leg muscle... and I feel good about it.
The best part: free exercise! No need for gym membership or anything!
Biking was my first idea, before I started walking home... but... biking in Lisbon is still restricted to a few places and the path I take is not very bike-friendly. In theory, I could get home in half the time, that way.
But I'm "still" young and joints aren't "yet" a problem. Not sure a bicycle would relieve that much pressure... it's more about avoiding the impact of each stride... you end up having to pull more weight with the bike.
