Bastard long day, many, many patients. Still got to collect kids, beat them (being a Christian and all) get them to bed, then go straight back out for a late meeting. Shattered. Might skip the beating tonight. Stick is almost worn out anyway.

I have a friend who I don't know what exactly he believes. I was thinking of inviting him to this skeptic meeting and then I realized, "wait, that's no different than asshole christians inviting you to their church." Close one.

Procrastinating, and still opening my big yap and wasting time posting on the forum. I've developed a reading schedule consisting of two 4 hour blocks each day, but I was supposed to get started a half hour ago and haven't.


Since I know many won't read the member awards thread, I just want to encourage people to participate. The more votes the winners receive, the more they'll appreciate the award, so please vote.

It's frigging hot in my apartment again today, 79 F. Grrrr!


I'm thinking I might have a shot at most controversial, but I was optimistic about my chances last year and didn't come close to winning anything. So I'm trying to temper my hopes with some realism.

Enjoying the first of my scheduled reading breaks. I read in 4 hour stints, with strategically placed breaks every 45 minutes. I'm taking an extended break to have lunch. A toasted chicken ranch hoagie from Walmart, and a tin of kippered herring.
