I'm getting more pissed off with Amazon every day :angry: I can see my video library on this roku but it's giving me no option to play the series of Doctor who I bought... just shows me every other series that I didn't buy and plugs those for sale. It will let me watch/resume the film I bought but not the series. WTF?! I knew there'd be a catch with Amazon and the roku, I just knew it

Oops... figured out how to do it now... I have to find my series in amongst all of them. But I stand by my remark... Amazon I still think you're a bunch of wankers if I have to search through 150 seasons of Dr who just to find my season so I can watch it. There's gotta be a better way than that!
Going to see if a neighbor needs help tomorrow. The farmer that I get my local fruits and veggies from had one of his barns catch fire this afternoon. 17 fire departments responded and they fought it for over seven hours. I am truly saddened for this man and his family.
I don't know if any other buildings caught fire. The police had all the surrounding roads blocked off but you could still see the blaze from a main road. I know his daughter owns a farm down the road so I'm assuming everyone will be there to help, but I feel so bad for this family. Disclaimer: I am only responsible for what I say, not what you choose to understand.

I'm sorry about my little rant (and overreaction) but I never expect anything to be easy where it comes to Amazon sharing the marketplace with anyone else. Just don't really trust them in that regard so it was a bit of bias on my part that made me jump to those conclusions. Just by the fact that, for instance, they don't have (or when I looked they didn't) NowTV available on their Fire devices. I don't have any desire to use NowTV - I've already decided against that - but it was the principle of it that they appear to be trying to lock out their competitors so that put me right off a Fire device. I just expect that sort of thing from Amazon so finding Amazon on the Roku (which apparently has only just happened, within the last few days, after years not being available on it), my first thought really was 'what's the catch?' and I thought that was it, but guess not.
