Watching fire department activity down the street. They blocked access to get into the neighborhood. This should be interesting.

Apparently there's a gas leak a few houses down. They may try to evacuate the area.

Well they aren't knocking on doors just yet. Plenty of trucks from the gas company are here along with two backhoes. You can smell the gas outside too.

Trying to find a staple... recycling old exercise books and after pulling out the staples, missed the bin with one of them and it bounced somewhere. So now there's a big, old, rusty staple waiting somewhere for me to stand on it in my bare feet unless I can find it
