I overslept with that stupid blackout. Missed the USA women vs. Switzerland, but now I'm watching Decision Day, the final matchday in the Major League Soccer regular season: playoff spots still up for grabs. Watching Seattle Sounders vs. Real Salt Lake.

Got a batch of roti underway. Pastry is made and is resting, the ground peas for inside the pastry are cooked and seasoned, and the goat for the curry filling is stewing in the oven.

Time to turn off the oven and head out for a bit of a break. I need to buy a bus pass for next week, and then I'll stop in at a coffee shop for a sojourn. With any luck, the ice cream place next to the coffee shop has not closed for the season and I may also grab a cone.

Just got my ass handed to me in canasta so now I'm going to get in bed and play some Minecraft on my laptop until I doze off from the meds I just took.
