What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
I have exam about calculus in several variables this saturday. I started studying a week ago, and I also have a physics exam the same day.

Trying to learn to solve triple integrals in one day. Hopefully I will have the imagination to draw 3D figures based on 2D curves in the exam. Plus, this exam is 35% out of the 100%

“Love is the only bow on Life’s dark cloud. It is the morning and the evening star. It shines upon the babe, and sheds its radiance on the quiet tomb. It is the mother of art, inspirer of poet, patriot and philosopher.

It is the air and light of every heart – builder of every home, kindler of every fire on every hearth. It was the first to dream of immortality. It fills the world with melody – for music is the voice of love.

Love is the magician, the enchanter, that changes worthless things to Joy, and makes royal kings and queens of common clay. It is the perfume of that wondrous flower, the heart, and without that sacred passion, that divine swoon, we are less than beasts; but with it, earth is heaven, and we are gods.” - Robert. G. Ingersoll

Oh, yes.  I love homemade fruitcake -- totally different flavour from those dry bricks of cake and raisins that they sell at the supermarket.

Because of the alcohol bath they get after they cool down, usually brandy but sometimes brandy and rum, the cakes stay moist and keep for several months.  If I have a slice every 2 or 3 days, assuming I don't give some away, the last of it will be gone in late February or so.

Clever way to stay day drunk off some cake for days!
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

"Christmas Fruit Cake"... now there's a mouthful Wink

We have what we call King Cake:

Unless you're unlucky with the place where you buy them, they are usually nice and soft and full of dried and candied fruits.
And now I want one! Tongue
