RE: What's everyone up to right now?

Just went to check on my baby dove ( I thought it was two but it was just one messy one) and discovered that when the mum needs a break the dad looks after it.
He puffed up big time when I took him off the nest and even tried to peck me.
They don't really have pecking beaks though. :-)
I haven't had coke zero for two weeks now, just water.
I can't believe how much I'm hanging out for one right now.
Also haven't had a cigarette for three days.
I'm on patches and they seem to be working just fine.
They do give me a sore arm though.
I didn't realise how much better you can breathe without them.
I've also lost six kilos in the last month.
Walking has finally started to pay off.

An interesting MLS playoff match between MTL-TOR.

Eating a piece of my daughters birthday cake. They each wanted their own cake. Both really good though, so it was hard to choose between them. (the cake, not the girls lol)

Just finished the 12 hour drive to Florida.
The weirdest Thanksgiving ever will commence.
My family is out of town for the actual holiday, but we are all coalescing on Saturday for my cousin's funeral on Sunday.
I travelled for Thanksgiving but I'm weirdly alone...
I grew up here, so I am doing the holiday with friends. Still weird.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
