*hits blunt*
Been playing Assassin's Creed: Unity again and it's making me want to go back to Paris so bad.
So many places I could see myself potentially moving to, and I have just one life. It's so sad. I don't know why I can't feel settled in just one place, it's like the generations of members of my family moving back and forth has culminated in me being this wanderer, who wants to be everywhere at once and nowhere for too long.

We must have stricter laws here -- Schools generally don't allow the students to torture the parental units with recorders until grade 5.
Got an unfathomable urge to do some Xtreme kitchen cleaning (or at least as Xtreme as I tend to get late on Sunday night). Stovetop is very shiny.

Talking to Esquilax, watching Denver Broncos vs Chiefs in overtime over a literally LAST SECOND play by the Chiefs to catch up!!
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Barely slept, head cold, headache, need to get up . Not exactly ideal conditions for teaching math to an unwilling audience ...

But on the bright side, as a math teacher, you have a natural excuse for inflicting your misery on them.

Be as affable as possible, Alex. Believe me, your attitude might actually have life altering consequences. Take umbridge in the fact that you are, in fact, changing their lives, whether to a smaller or greater extent.
We are talking about (high-) school here, right?
