Watching Netflix and worrying about a strange pain in my side.

Trying to survive the last three hours of my night shift. (Why can't patients just sleep at night, or at least stay in their beds? Ugh.)

Had my daughter's sixth birthday party today and I must say, as it's organiser and planner, it was a major success.
I got to the park an hour and a half early to insure the best tables, sheltered and next to the barbie.
I then decorated the area with balloons.
Then I filled a 20 litre bucket with loaded water bombs using the park tap.
Ten of the twenty kids I invited showed up, exactly to plan.
They ran around like crazy buggers, fuelled by lollies and chocolate.
I fired up the barbie and we had a sausage sizzle.
After lunch the kids pounded their mum's and dad's with water bombs, exactly as planned also.
Then we sang Happy Birthday and cut the cake, loading the kids up with more sugar so they don't sleep all night.
Everyone goes home, a perfect day in paradise.
I may have overestimated the food quantity.
I'll be eating snags for the next three days. :-)

It's also the first time ever I've flown anywhere. I thought I'd freak out or something, but it really didn't bother me at all.
Wow never realised that inflation had gotten so bad since Brexit £97m to see the Titanic exhibit

Looking at the snow falling and thinking about how screwed we are if we can't get to the laundrymat to dry our clothes.
Ugh. I hate winter.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
