Reading mah book. I've spent an hour or so, and am about half done. Reading Thomas Sowell's A Conflict Of Vision. I only have to read the first three chapters, because it's a philosophy group, so the reading is just grist for a bunch of philosophical wankers. Sowell's book is primarily contrasting ideologies rooted in pragmatism versus those rooted in unconstrained human potential. The person I usually knock heads with is an example of the latter, whereas I'm more of a pragmatist. There was a guy who used to come who shared a lot of my views, but he apparently had a melt down and quit the group. /sad.

Yaaaay! I found a pull-out kitchen faucet at Walmart that's $40 cheaper than the cheapest I found elsewhere. Now I just have to file for a "reasonable accommodation" with my building management to let me install it.
