I just got a second monitor at my workstation at work. I'm testing out the new possibilities in goofing off while appearing productive. Big Grin

Sitting in the lobby of my clinic, waiting for group therapy. It's -7 F, but I'm overdressed, so I got rather hot on the way over. Still sweaty. I'll have to drop a couple layers when I leave, because I'll be in a heated handicap transport van.

Looking at the antichrist staring off into space. I'm positive she's plotting my demise. She looks just like a sweet, cuddly kitty, but she's evil, I tell you.

Watching my NBC affiliate's midday news. Stuff on a downed drone.

Nothing truly newsworthy, then.

We in San Diego are too proud to report on L.A. news. It's like we think we're our own metro area or something.

Ooh! Funeral for a lady hit by an SDG&E utility truck.

Walked around the village I'm staying in, down to a coffee farm. Bought a few pounds of awesome beans. On the way back, found a restaurant - rice, beans, quesadillas, machaca, and chicken mole with tortillas, jamaica and a dessert that I don't know the name of - all for about $8, and that's about the most expensive meal in town. An hour and a half before my transport comes. The touch screen on this converted nook sucks. The 'o' doesn't respond 80% of the time. It will be another week before I can send my good tablet in for repairs.

I decided during group that I need to stop being solitary and form some friendships to work toward the goal of growing into a well rounded, complete, social human being. I'm afraid of this. I'm afraid it's going to be unpleasant and hurt. I just want to go back. I want to forget that I know what I have to do.
