I didn't mean to imply I couldn't marry if I couldn't have babies. It would have been clearer if I'd stated that the door to child bearing was shut as well. It's just that thoughts of marriage and relationships brought up thoughts of children and all the experiences I'll never have now that I'm too old. It's like a piece of me is missing. I don't know how to explain it, there's just an emptiness there.



Having kids can be transformative. But not always in a good way. And you can get it other ways. Meh. Whatever choices you make, life always seems to take on a sense of inevitability.
