This might be the last week of really good temps here in Portland so sometime this week over lunch I'm going to try to get out and sketch the waterfront in my new watercolor journal. It's all landscapey-formatted and has, apparently, 100% cotton paper which I didn't know. I just know a lot of "professional" urban sketchers love them so I thought I'd give it a try when the price dropped 50% on amazon. 
Had to look that up. xD
The bigger picture, which I altered to only show the otter, depicts a female trainer in the back signaling what the otter should do through the mirror both of them are standing in front of. From what I can tell, it's a sort of dance move that the otter is performing.

Waiting for a chocolate cake to finish cooling so I can put on the icing and stow it in the fridge. Bringing noms for a retirement party tomorrow at work. I also baked an orange cake, which is already put away. We don't get to eat any of it today, but there will probably be leftovers to bring home.

What? Are they fully anesthetizing you? That seems extreme for carpal tunnel surgery...
